View Your Accidentally Dismissed & Old Notifications in Android Device
If you are a Android user, then u might receive lots of notifications if you are connected your device with the social media such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. These notifications lets us to know the details of missed calls, received messages, alarms, calendar events and ongoing downloads.
It is found on the status bar which is on the top sidebar, if it is pulled down it shows the list of notifications. If we click on any notifications, the related action will take place such as opening of the app or other. In other case, there is an option to dismiss the notification.
If the notification is dismissed, it clears the status bar.

Getting Started
Click on Menu on the App Drawer.
Press the Widgets tab [on the left of the screen] and make sure it is in Widgets tab, else you wont get this option.
Now you will find the Settings Shortcut [a gear icon with symbol of setting logo].
Long press the settings widget to add it to the Home Screen.
Now you will get a list of notifications which are shown on the status bar will be listed here. From the Notification history you can directly jump to App info for an app.
